The idea for this product arose back in 2012 as a solution for a domestic product. HTEconomizer represents an improved version of the already existing heat-exchangers. It is a system for the purpose of saving energy and its efficiency, reaching a level about 50-70% savings. It is structured in a way that it makes it possible to solve issues connected to the efficiency of such type of products. The product should be installed under the sink siphon, and it exploitation and cleaning from pollution are comfortable and easy. HTEconomizer can be applied in homes, as well as in hotels, business buildings and trade centers.
The HTEconomizer project went through several prototypes. The main prototype has been tested for a period of 3.5 years, and with this particular prototype we have managed to reach an efficiency level of 30-50%. Regardless of the positive results, we decided to change its structure because of the high prime cost, the big number of details, as well as the high percentage of metal alloy (copper alloy). A new prototype was created, and for its base we used polypropylene, and the copper alloy exists only in one of its components. The rest of the materials used for the product`s manufacturing are completely recyclable. The efficiency of the enhanced prototypes falls in the percentage frame of 50 to 70 percent.

The team for this project has increased the number of its members. The project took part in an innovations exhibition - Fifth National Industrial Exhibition, Inventions-Transfer-Innovations, ITI Sofia 2014.
A presentation of the project is planned through its participation in campaigns, exhibitions and brand presentation. These activities will lay down the basis for turning the product into a real one on the market. The limitations on the wasting of resources and putting an end to their chaotic usage are the factors that brought us to the idea for the creation of the HTEconomizer product. By transforming the secondary energy from the hot water into an extremely useful residual product, we can save significant amount of financial and natural resources.
The increasing number of the world population leads to scarcity in energy resources, which consequently results in the increased prices paid by the final consumers.
The solution is limitation on the wasting of resources and on their chaotic "draining". The ecological side of the topic is also of high significance since it concerns the society more and more each day, and thus leads to a number of regulatory changes.
The production of additional energy is not a universal solution if we do not use the present one wisely. The investments in energy-saving innovative solutions are a priority for the society and the governments around the world.

The cold water comes through the water-main with a temperature in the range of 5-15 °C (depending on the season). Thanks to HTEconomizer, the residual energy of the hot water heats up the cold one, reaching temperatures in the range of 10-30 °C, The prototype`s efficiency displayed results of 50-70% energy savings.
If we take a closer look at our daily life, the cold water runs through the water-main and reaches us with a temperature of about 5-15 °C (depending on the season). One of its main applications is in the domestic needs, more particularly - the kitchen needs. Before being used for the washing of the dishes, for instance, the cold water is being heated up in a water-bearing vessel, or another type of system. The role of HTEconomizer is to use the residual energy of the already heated up water that has already been used for washing. Going through HTEconomizer, the refuse water warms the cold one coming through the water-main without establishing a direct contact with it, and thus it increases the temperature of the cold water reaching 10-30 °C. As a result of all this, the used water-heater works less, saves more and uses significantly less energy!
An accessory is planned to be manufactured for the main HTEconomizer product - a mixer tap which diverts and regulates the water pressure. HTEconomizer provides a completely different point of view in terms of energy-efficiency from "inside-out" in the building, or a room in particular. The product can be used in homes, as well as in hotels, business buildings, trade centers, etc. It should be installed under the sink siphon, and its exploitation and cleaning from the pollution are both comfortable and easy. HTEconomizer combines in itself all the main features of a useful product.
